new to the trucking industry.
What can I do to get a pay increase?
Like most other jobs, pay
increases come with experience. They come when you get better at what
you do. As a truck driver, you can gain additional experience by
qualifying for endorsements. Endorsements allow you to pull a tank,
hazardous materials, and pull more than one trailer. You must pass a
test for each endorsement you wish to qualify for.
If
I have taken the CDL written exam in
another state, do I need to take it in Maine, too?
